A Matter of Protection in Celts
The Celtic triangle, or triple knot, was believed to create an unbreakable circle of protection. It symbolizes the fact that the physical, mental and spiritual are all intertwined. Apart from being the symbol of Odin during Pagan times, it is also the symbol of the mother goddess and moon goddess. The Triquetra also symbolizes the Holy Trinity, as well as many other spiritual beliefs. It was used to represent the Holy Trinity during the transition from Paganism to Christianity.
It is a Matter of…
The need for protection knows no geographical or cultural limits. When there is evil that surrounds you, it is best to get some protection, whether it is a circle, pentagonal prism, or a polygon that looks like trapezoid. As our elders said, you are either inside the circle or outside the circle, it is all a matter of self-protection.
This symbol represents the holy trinity, and is the perfect gift to give when you want to create a circle of protection around your loved ones, or for when you want to praise those who possess integrity of character, or for when you want to protect your loved ones who are far away from you.
When you think of a “child’s gift, sibling gift, holiday gift, sendoff gift, wedding gift, birthday gift” this is the first thing that comes to mind.
