Peshkir is a rare example of Anatolian textiles. Found in many regions and palaces, it was used as a napkin placed on the lap, under the traditional floor table and was given great importance in the Ottoman palace. Known for being highly absorbent, a Peshkir can be used as a kitchen or bath towel.
