Since the beginning of history, humans had a need to understand the universe, and made use of one of the oldest disciplines of science, the astronomy. The mother of the astronomy is no doubt, the moon. The moon, the eternal symbol of the goddess cult throughout history, has been addressed for following a cycle as well as being a feminine energy. Even in some myths, the phases of the moon have been related to womanhood (Crescent as symbol of virginity, full moon symbolizing motherhood, waning moon as an old and wise woman). The moon, which symbolizes the dark side of the nature due to being a passive light source, is also a symbol of emotions in line with its connections with intuition, regeneration, rhythm and water (the tide).

Could the dark side of the moon be enlightened? This fellow changes all the time. Sometimes it rises daytime and sometimes it pretends not to rise at all.
